Lots of things are happening in the PhysarumPlus community and this page is intended to give a heads up about some of the most interesting things. Webmaster hopes to post a new item here on a fairly regular basis. Each will include the date the item was posted (reverse chronological order) and each will have a brief 'teaser' followed by a link to more information.
23 December, 2015: PhysNet 2015 concluded on December 5 and, as promised, we can now make available additional material about this Physarum workshop. For access to abstracts of the presentations, digital versions of talks for which presenters have given us the appropriate files, as well as some pictures, click here.
4 December, 2015: The Physarum workshop mentioned previously (see below) is now in progress. Called PhysNet 2015, it is a part of BICT 2015. The daily program is available here. Shortly after the meeting has concluded we will post abstracts of the presentations, digital versions of talks for which presenters have given us the appropriate files, as well as some pictures.
4 May, 2015: An extremely-promising Physarum workshop is being organized for December 3-5, 2015 in New York City. The aim is "to unite a considerable number of current Physarum research groups to discuss the exciting new insights we have gained and are continuing to gain on Physarum behaviour as well as basic genetics, cell biology, and biophysics of slime molds." For more information click here.
1 May, 2015: Many things are happening to this website! To the occasional visitor it may appear that very little has changed since the website was created over 15 years ago, but - as the major revision referred to at the top of the main page has gone forward - there have been many changes. And we anticipate more. We have deliberately kept the same look (including the "saucy lemon" background), but the careful reader will recognize that quite a lot is happening. For more details, look here (in preparation).
